Delivery

Greensborough Flowers in partnership with our courier and Interflora, will make every attempt to deliver your order on the requested day. Our courier does not telephone prior to delivering packages and cannot guarantee delivery for a specific time of day. When placing your order, we recommend that you consider selecting an earlier delivery date to ensure that your order is delivered on time for a specific occasion.

 

Business, Hospitals and Hotel Deliveries

Due to delivery restrictions and security requirements at many businesses and hotels, our courier may not be allowed to deliver your order directly to the recipient. In many cases, your order will be delivered to the receiving department or concierge and then to the recipient. Unfortunately, this may create a delay in delivery. We ask that you please keep this in mind when scheduling the delivery for your order.

 

Shipping and Delivery Responsibility

Please place your order carefully. Inn Florist is not responsible for:

Flowers, plants or other items delivered to incorrect addresses supplied by the sender.

 

Unsuccessful deliveries arising from the recipient not being present at the time of delivery at the address supplied by the customer. If the recipient is unavailable at the time of delivery, your order will be left by the door. We recommend that you select a delivery address at which the recipient will be present during business hours. A telephone contact number for the recipient must be supplied.

 

Late delivery or decreased product quality when delivery is delayed due to sender requiring signature upon delivery.

Decreased flower quality due to an incorrect delivery address supplied by the sender, or a courier re-route requested by the sender.

 

Decreased flower quality when the recipient is unavailable at the time of delivery and the flowers are left at the door. We recommend that you choose a delivery address where your flower order can be cared for immediately.

 

Substitution Policy

In our desire to provide the freshest flowers available there may be instances where substitutions are necessary when fulfilling your order. If the product you are requesting is not available, we will substitute it with a similar stem or bouquet at the same or greater value of your order, to maintain the intended presentation of your order.

 

Caring For Your Flowers

If Flowers are arranged in florist' foam or pot, top up  with clean water daily, taking care not overfill.

 

If you have received cut flowers , trim stem diagonally about 2cm from  the base prior to placing  in clean water. take special care to remove all leaves that will be underwater, as they contain bacteria that may spoil the water. 

 

As some flowers will last longer than the others. Carefully remove spent blooms, especially if other flowers in your display are still alive, position flowers away from droughts, direct heat and sunlight. Do not place them on heat generating appliances  such as TVs or Microwaves.
